Garden and Natural Stones complement any homes front lawn with a proud display of your address numbers. Or, literally anything else you would like to engrave.
We have polished, engraved, and cut such a wide variety of stones in our long history here in Santa Barbara that we are pleased to help you find the perfect stone.
Each stone is naturally “cut” or shaped by the earth from which it came so it is hard to say exactly how your boulder will look without you coming by our shop to personally see it.
We have the ability to source just about any stone material you can think of so your options are quite possibly endless. As mentioned, setting an appointment to come by and speak with our expert memorial designers will be your best bet in getting the stone that best speaks to you.
One of our expert Santa Barbara Monumental staff will happily show you around what we have in stock. And, if none of the stones we have will do then we can source out something more particular.
Selecting the right color takes time. All of the colors of granite are mined and sourced from all over the world. Thus, each stone is ever so slightly different.
The sample photos are a very good representation of the granite we source daily, but in some cases, you may see some variation in the color across the stone especially the Rainbow or Bahama Blue Granite. Where some patterns are more uniform like the Blue Pearl or Gray Granite.
For natural boulders, each boulder is uniquely different and will be one complete stone. Whereas granite is mined and cut from larger blocks to get your desired shape.
All colors considered, it’s best to reach out and speak with one of our expert memorial designers for more details of weekly stock and how long custom pieces will take to get here.
When it comes time to design your garden stone, it is always wise to take your budget into account. In Santa Barbara and the surrounding area, you can expect to range anywhere from $500 – $7,000+ depending on granite color, stone material and amount of design work. Requesting a proposal from our expert designers will get you the quickest quote possible. Our memorialists have crafted many address numbers, life stories, and tales of loved ones that need to be remembered. Our engravings are guaranteed to last and industry average of 7 generations.
Now that you have reviewed your color options, design ideas, and even the price range of your possible garden or natural stone, it’s time to set an appointment with our Artisan Memorialist, Jed Hendrickson. He and his Santa Barbara Monumental Team will engrave your chosen stone to last forever.
