This monument has an all honed finish and a photo of Captain Nidever. Captain Nidever is a famous sea captain in the Santa Barbara area who was not honored with a memorial until years after his passing. The Santa Cruz Island Foundation funded this memorial to the Captain, and it was designed in the style of a monument from the period in which he died.
This pillar is 26” x 56” and built of Select Gray granite.
